K2 citation authority jumped to 100 from a 7-day baseline of 14.29, a +85.71 swing, driven almost entirely by fax: the fax product line itself moved from 14.29 to 100 on the back of blog/ai-fax-service (268 citations, influence 85) and blog/healthcare-ai-fax-service (267 citations, influence 85). PA also contributed via blog/top-ai-prior-authorization-software (121 citations, influence 81, +98 citation trend). Referral and front desk still show K2 no_data because no owned referral or front-desk URL cleared the authority threshold in the 1-day window, which is the real gap: our fax pages are cornerstone-grade, our referral pages are not.

K3 competitive gap is measured last-7-days vs the prior-7-days, not a daily snapshot, and it fell 4.34 points overall (from 7.40 to 3.06) with every product line down: referral -3.29, fax -2.41, PA -1.3, front desk -0.40. The referral compression is the loudest signal: Referralmd went from effectively 0 citation share to 2.0 (+1.99 trend) and Linear jumped to 2.41 (+1.9), both attacking the referral-management SERP with dedicated pages like linear.health/blog/ai-powered-referral-automation-tools. On fax, Documo entered at 1.11 share (+1.11) and Honeyhealth's fax listicles are stacking citations. In PA, experian.com is small (0.07) but the whole category is getting more crowded. Front desk is the least eroded pillar; Retellai actually lost ground (-1.13 trend).

That gap is strategic, not a bug: our AirOps prompt set is heavily weighted toward phone-agent and clinic-admin queries where we already win, so it flatters us. Ahrefs is sampling wider document-processing and category prompts where Healos (0.19), Innovaccer (0.05), and Documo (0.07) are legitimately closing. Trust Ahrefs for referral and fax category read; trust AirOps for front-desk defense.
AI cites our SEO winners?
Overlap between AirOps top-cited URLs and Ahrefs site-explorer top organic pages is low. Our SEO traffic winners are the homepage (689 sessions), /ambient (110), /blog/sully-ai (104), and /blog/assort-health (55), none of which are the AI citation winners. The AI engines are pulling blog/ai-fax-service (268 citations, 8 organic clicks), blog/healthcare-ai-fax-service (267 citations, 3 clicks), and blog/top-ai-prior-authorization-software (121 citations, 56 clicks). That is content asymmetry, not alignment: AI answer engines are rewarding depth on document-processing topics that Google is not yet ranking us for. seoOverlapPct is null in the KPI payload, consistent with this reading. The implication is that pouring more link and refresh effort into the fax and PA cornerstone posts will compound on the AEO side even if organic movement lags.
Organic coverage of AEO intent
We are barely ranking organically for what the AI engines are asking about on documents. Ahrefs organic-keywords shows we own brand terms (insight health, insight ai, insighthealth.ai all at position 1) and a few adjacent ones (fax automation position 4, ai prior authorization position 15, prior auth software position 7), but the AEO prompts driving citations (best ai prior authorization software for healthcare, top automated patient intake solutions, ai for automating patient triage) do not map to top-10 organic positions. Referral is the worst covered: 'ai referral management' sits at position 5 with zero traffic, and there is no ranking page for automated referral intake at all. The Ahrefs opportunities list (prior authorization companies, prior authorization software vendors, fax automation, ai prior authorization) confirms the same set of head terms are movable but under-invested.
